What
is Social Anxiety Disorder?
Almost everyone has felt anxious in social situations at one time or
another. Feeling awkward or uncertain, being thrust into a new situation,
being dressed differently, making small talk -- even questions about
appropriate manners can lead to social anxiety.
Social Anxiety Disorder
Picture yourself, walking down
the street and you approach a group of people waiting for the bus. You
notice everyone wants to talk to one another, but they're not. They
just scuffle their feet, sniffle & sneeze. And all you feel like doing
is saying "Hey! isn't today a lovely day!"
Social Anxiety Disorder Treatment
Natural supplements have recently emerged (Zoloden), which
may be very successful in treating depression, obsessive compulsive
disorder, and anxiety disorders. Other types of treatment can be group
talk therapy, or even prescription medicines.
